If you had your own garden what would you do differently?
What do you plan to see the next visit to the garden?
What advice do you have for me in caring for the garden?

1. One thing that I learned was that having more then one person helping with a garden makes it easier and faster to plan.

1. getting a garden set up requires a lot of math, you can't plant certain plants by each other, watermelons grow better on mounds.

I learned that trenches around the watermelon holes water better instead of it just running off. You can plant more than one seed in one hill for the watermelon. I learned to wear sun screen even though you already have a sun burn... just wear it period.

I learned that planing a garden is harder then it looks. That you better wear gloves or else you get blisters! You have to make sure you plant the plants in the right places. I wouldn't do anything differently. At least some sprouts sticking out of the ground. Make sure you water when we can not!! :)

I learned about what plants to put where. I learned why some plants grow better next to others. I learned what plants grow better on mounds or in rows.

1. I learned that making a garden requires a lot of work. I learned that gardening is fun when you have people helping you. The last thing I learned is that, while making a mound for watermelons, NEVER slam your hand down on the dirt, YOU WILL get stickers in your hands.

I learned that digging trenches helps the soil hold a lot more water available for the plant, hoes can break very easily, and Sheeba liked to lay where you were working.

I learned that gardening is pretty fun. If I had my own garden, I wouldn't change anything. I plan to see the plants starting to sprout. Just to make sure that you don't forget to water, and not to over water your garden.
